Into the Wild — the growing need for life off the grid made my mind wander into the foreign lands.
I thought it would be great to have a walk. Maybe in concrete or steel curved paths, lying in fields or climbing up the hill, surrounded by blowing wind and forests. There is no better way to unwind the spirt than to immerse yourself in pristine nature. Therefore this time the selection is truly visual. I have searched for curves because perfect straight angles do not appear so often in nature.
And as the dessert, one of my favorite - project of Daniela Tkachenko, who decided to explore the world of outsiders in Russia and Ukraine. Fascinating photo book “Escape” which tells the story of those who deliberately tried to escape their social life, such as school, work, and family. To some of the individuals, their former life with all of their obligations became a prison. They decided to live as outcasts or hermits, far from other people, villages, or even towns. Through that process, they are slowly giving up their social identity while becoming closer to nature.
